About the Atlas

The Wisconsin Accessible Birding Atlas was created as a capstone project for a Masters of Science in Cartography GIS through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Any students interested in assisting with or continuing on with this project can reach out through my website.

Our Mission

Our goal is to remove barriers to outdoor recreation by providing detailed information about the accessibility of birding sites. We believe that nature and birding should be accessible to all, regardless of mobility, sensory, or other challenges.

What We Offer

Get Involved

We welcome contributions from the birding community! If you know of a site that should be included or have feedback on existing entries, please visit our Submit a Site page. Your input helps us grow and improve this resource.
